The Get-Rich-Quick Mentality – A Red Flag for Internet Marketing Scams
With the present economic state of the global community, a lot of people all over the world are on the hunt for a better source of income. Everybody wants to hit it big time and rake in tons of money. Some of us desire to get rich quickly and many came to know about the internet as a new market to explore. Get rich schemes flood the internet now. Despite our desire to rake in money with little or less effort, we should see to it that we avoid get-rich-schemes over the internet because it will only rip off our dreams towards financial stability.
Get-Rich-Quick Mentality – A Booby Trap for Scams
A get-rich-quick mentality is a big factor that will contribute to the possibility of being a victim of internet marketing scams. The way we perceive things can greatly affect our actions and decision making.
We must understand that building up any type of business takes a lot of financial investments, time, effort and dedication. Some aspiring business men and women have less or more of these elements that make a business a success. Internet businesses are no different than a traditional brick and mortar business. Though this type of business requires less start up capital to kick off the operations and start yielding profit. This is the primary reason why a lot of us turn into this type of business.
There are a lot of internet based entrepreneurs who would want to rake in money faster than a speeding bullet. Though this may sound exaggerated, this get-rich-quick mentality has paved the way into the existence of get rich quick schemes and scams. There is a vicious and endless cycle which seemed to perpetuate itself. We might wonder which existed first the internet scammers or the victims. It is almost similar to a silly question which goes “which comes first, egg or chicken?” Do not waste time figuring out the answer for this riddle and focus on the steps when to raise the red flag when you run into an internet scam and eventually get rid off of your get-rich-quick mentality.
1. Take the TIME to construct your business endeavors
§ You must not rely to any get-rich schemes and offers. There are a lot of people who made decent sums of money from their own businesses through several months of trial and error process rather than quick steps on the net. For sure, these kinds of get-rich schemes for online business will never endure.
2. Take Time to Build Your Business over the Internet
§ Starting your business right will ensure you that your business will end up trotting the right way to success. As a responsible business owner, you must understand that you have to build your business that will rake in a considerable amount of money on a long term basis.
3. Do Serious Hard Work And Understand Your Business’ Timetable
§ You have to know that any business has ‘growing pains’ to endure. Start off online business do have dormant periods where the business may gain or loose.
§ The first 2-5 years is an ample time frame for you to expect a turn around of the business profitability or loss.
§ With any type of internet business, you must understand that an approximate of 6 months to almost a year of sheer hard work can bring forth substantial and positive results to venture a web based business.
To wrap things up, a profitable internet business is a result of having a clear vision, hard work and determination. As an internet entrepreneur you have to invest not just your time but your dedication to your very own business venture. You must also invest a part of yourself into a business which you believe can run for a long time without stepping or violating any consumer rights and trading laws. When you start a real business on the net and avoid any short cuts to getting rich, you will surely be safe away from internet marketing scams and frauds.

Internet Marketing Seminars = Pitch Fests?
Every time you turn around, it seems as if there is a new seminar that is guaranteed to make you a millionaire in a very short period of time. Most of these seminars, however, are just a waste of your time and energy.
In the end, attendees find themselves having more questions than answers after attending one of these “instructive and insightful” seminars!
You go to a seminar where some of the best Internet Marketing Gurus are lined up to teach you a bunch of garbage and hype, and then try to sell you a $5000 or even $15000 coaching” package.
And yeah sure the Gurus will give you a guarantee that you’ll either make $$$ within 90 days or you can have your money back…(good luck).
Once you pay these scam artists you’ll never see your money again. Guaranteed! And believe me I know what I’m talking about. If you didn’t watch how I was scammed then I urge you to go and watch the video(s) on this site.
Even Rich Schefren recently wrote a blog post saying how disturbed he was after attending an internet marketing seminar. ”The Gurus were lined up to sell their push button products that are supposed to make the buyer rich while the gurus company does all the hard work.”
And to be more straight forward than Rich Schefren. Most Internet Marketing Gurus are scam artists who care a rat ass about their customers and are willing to do nearly anything to separate you from your hard earned money!

The Internet Marketing Gurus Club And Why Your Not Welcome In
Let’s start with the facts. Every day, thousands of people join the Internet Marketing industry. However, recent statistics show that fewer than 3% of the people in the industry are making enough money to make their efforts worth their time and energy. And less than 1% are making a killing…Lots of $$$.
This means more than 97% of the marketers are making peanuts or are spending much MORE than what they are making!
Who are these people who comprise the magical 1%? Chances are, they are members of The Club.
The Club is a small group of Internet Marketing gurus who help each other by promoting each other’s products. Sadly, it doesn’t matter whether those products are of value or not. Club members will push and promote products and services sold by other Club members because those Club members sell and promote their products and services. In other words, one hand washes the other.
The most effective way to promote the products of other club members is to use the power of email. Many gurus, once you are on their mailing list, will send you a couple of emails a day, telling you
how well these products worked for them and that they made lots of money using them. Again, it doesn’t matter if the product is of value or not because the guru is receiving free advertising from the other guru in exchange and of course a nice commission.
Or do you believe that the Gurus work through every product they pitch you on and test it before they send you an email telling you to buy it? If this was true then you will get an email every 2 months from the Gurus and not a couple of emails a day pitching you on a new product each time. It just takes time to test and see if a product really gets the results it claims to do.
Fact is, if you want to sell internet marketing products to other marketers then you need to be a member of The Club in order to make serious money!
But this club has closed its doors and is not accepting any new members! There is, however, one rare exception to this rule. You can join The Club, but that is only if one of the existing Club members gives you an invitation, a golden ticket.
This “golden ticket” is rarely given.
Don’t believe what I’ve just told you? Then here is the proof…
Have you ever heard of Jeff Wellman? You’ve probably have. Jeff Wellman used to work at Gerber until the baby food company decided to downsize. When faced with the possibility of losing his job, Keith Wellman, his son and a club member, went to rescue his Dad and gave him one of these rare golden Tickets.
So Jeff Wellman became an instant Guru, after joining the club, with the ability, skills and knowledge to educate the internet marketing community on baby food. SORRY…On Internet Marketing.
So Jeff Wellman’s first baby food product…Internet marketing product. Damn, I’m getting confused here…was an ebook coupled with audio interviews.
Again, this ebook targeted exclusively the newbie marketer! Do you see a pattern here?
Here is what one of the very few marketers I respect wrote about this ebook:
‘’Seriously…it took me 7 minutes to read the 63
page book. You should buy this book only if today was the first time you heard the word affiliate.” John Jonas
How could Jeff Wellman make a small fortune selling a useless ebook?
Very simple…He got the club members to promote his ground breaking ebook!
So do you see how much these shameful Gurus care about you or want you to be successful?
In fact the last thing the gurus want for you and me is to become successful…Why? If you become successful then they’re going to have you as a competition. That means less money in their pockets! That’s why they keep the club membership very limited!
To make a long story short, Jeff Wellman is now a leading IM Guru and one of the newest members of the Club. Membership does have its privileges!

The Beloved Internet Marketing ''Newbie''
If you’re a “newbie’’ in the internet marketing world then you are the guru’s favorite catch!
Because You’re like a drunk fish in shallow waters for them.
Being a “newbie” in the Internet Marketing industry can be potentially dangerous to your financial well-being. Why? Newbie’s do not yet know the ins and outs of the industry, and they cannot always detect misinformation or propaganda when it is staring them in the face. This makes newbie’s especially vulnerable to the machinations and deceptions of the gurus.
Gurus and even big name Gurus make the majority of their money duping newbies out of their hard-earned money. This is because the newbie generally does not know enough about Internet Marketing to separate fact from fiction.
You honestly believe that when you spend your hard earned money to gain this information, you will make a great return on investment, and your money will come back to you quickly. Unfortunately, in most cases, you will never get your money back. It goes into the pockets of the gurus who knew from the beginning that you would never make any money from their products. Trust me on that. I’ve paid thousands of dollars to learn this lesson.
Internet Marketing Gurus are like professional poker players…
Did you know that the majority of the professional poker players make most of their money by playing not against each other but against new poker players or ‘’newbie’s’’? Yes professional poker players depend on the newbie to make their money!
Just like the internet marketing Gurus the newbie’s are pokers player favourite victim. Why? Because just like in internet marketing the new poker players don’t have full knowledge of the game and they believe that they can make a lot of money fast and easy so they make false decisions and misjudgments.
Like professional poker players, Internet Marketing gurus depend on newbie’s in order to continue to make money. They need to have a constant flow of newbie’s to sell them their worthless products and services otherwise they would soon go out of business because people who are “in the know” recognize that the products and services they offer have little to no actual value and that Gurus have no intention of ever delivering on their claims or promises.
Without newbie’s to take advantage of and profit from, Most gurus would have no one to profit from and have to find a Day Job!

One of the biggest lies the Gurus want you to believe…
The Passive Income Lie
Internet Marketing gurus perpetuate the myth of the absolute power of passive income. In fact, most people falsely believe that passive income is the route they should pursue when they first enter the Internet Marketing industry. Nothing could be further from the truth, but no guru will ever tell you this.
There are several ways these gurus will spread their misinformation. This is, after all, the digital age, and information spreads instantaneously with just a few quick key strokes. The most popular way of perpetuating this misinformation is to send e-mail messages with headlines such as:
• “Money For Nothing. Never Work again…”
• “30k in 30 Days…”
• “Want to be wealthy? Read our step-by-step blueprint to wealth.”
• “Make thousands of dollars every day with this amazing method.”
• “6 Steps to 6 Figures”
If you believe the Gurus and go with one of their offers then you have spent your “Money For Nothing’’ to make these suckers richer in 3 steps or less!
And yes I know the Gurus gave you a guarantee…Forget it! You’ll never see your money again anyway.
But the problem is that these headlines, whether in e-mail form or on Internet Marketing websites appeal to many people, including myself in the past, who want to get rich quick.
This is a trap that most “newbie’s” fall into because they are lead to believe that “get rich quick schemes” work. In fact, some of the writing you will read on the internet or through your e-mail can be pretty convincing. You can start to see yourself driving expensive cars, buying a glamorous home, or having the nicest things that money can buy. These are the kinds of hopes and dreams that these internet gurus play off of.
Stay one step ahead of the gurus by avoiding these passive income scams entirely.
The internet marketing industry has lately become littered with charlatans and scam artists, that it’s becoming extremely hard for most people and especially Newbie’s who are interested in becoming involved in the industry to not fall in the traps of the bad Gurus.
I want this Blog together with your help to become a trigger for change in the IM industry.
Yes its high time for a change. Things have gotten really bad in this industry and we can together put the bad gurus under pressure and make them either change their wicked ways or leave the game. They either have to deliver and commit to their customers or they will have to leave. Gurus who promise you the world and don’t deliver should not be welcome in the IM industry and no one should or will be willing to buy anything from them.

What The Internet Marketing Gurus Want You to believe?
Most Internet Marketing Gurus want you to believe that internet marketing is an easy industry full of great opportunities that can make you rich in a short period of time with minimum effort, but this is simply not the case. Don’t believe the hype, because that is exactly what it is - hype.
The truth is very different from what the gurus want you to believe!
The truth is that chances are high that you’ll end up spending your hard earned money just to make the Gurus even richer.
Oh…and what about you?
Who cares! This industry is all about the Gurus and them becoming richer and richer, it’s not about you and me! Ouch… this hurts…but by the time you find this out, your wallet will be suffering and you’ll find yourself asking this one question:
I thought the Gurus said…this is easy and almost anybody can make it…
Oh the Gurus said…
Stop the lies – Stop the hype – We’ve had enough!!
I’m really sick and tired with what’s happening in the internet marketing industry and how people are being separated from their hard earned money everyday because they fall victim to the cleverly crafted pitches that the Gurus are hitting them with everyday. I was scammed myself a couple of times by the Gurus and lost many thousands of dollars and not to mention the precious time I’ve wasted, so I know exactly what I’m talking about. Yes I was ignorant at that time of their tricks and tactics that they use to rip people off, but now I’m very informed and want to share with you my experience so you can protect yourself from becoming their next victim.
The Internet Marketing industry is guided by powerful gurus who try to fill people with lies and propaganda. Why do they do this? The main objective of these gurus is to make you, the newbie, believe that by buying their books, software, programs, coaching and services you’ll easily make serious money in a short period of time with minimum effort.
And what is the Gurus main goal? Make a lot of money in a short period of time with minimum effort…
So they are selling you what they want to achieve themselves and don’t really care if you make money or not because they hope to sell you the next ‘’big thing’’ a few days later and hope that you’re still can scratch some money from your warn out credit card and buy their next ‘’Big Thing’’ product, service, software or coaching that is going to make you rich very quick....or was it them?
So it’s the next big thing after another is what the Gurus are pitching us everyday.
Instead of making you focus on the product or service, you just bought from them with your hard earned money, and following up with you to make sure that you will have success with it, but no…They pitch you on another product or service a few days later in some cases a few hours later and tell you how great it is and that you should buy this too!
They tell you to focus but they never give you the chance because they are hitting you with multiple emails a day and pitching you on so many products and services until your head starts spinning and you don’t know where to begin and what to do. Yes the same Guru who sold you on product X two days ago is trying to sell you product Y in less than 48 hours. And it never stops!
Those charlatans are just after your money and care a rat ass about you!
let me ask you this one question:
How much do you think the gurus care about you or want for you to be successful using their products and services?
All what the Gurus are doing is scamming hard-working people of their hard earned money. All of the promises the gurus make are false promises and they never deliver!
